Nepal Seattle Society (NSS) proudly announces the Annual Dashain Celebration 2007/2064B.S. on Saturday, October 20, 2007 at West Seattle American Legion POST 160 in West Seattle. Please join us to celebrate our diverse Nepali culture. Let's meet and greet each other, enjoy the food of Nepal and socialize together during this festival season. This year, we have a Guest of Honor from Nepal: Mr. Sindhu Nath Pyakurel, Senior Advocate of Supreme Court of Nepal, Human Rights Activist, Member of Current Interim Constitution Draft Committee of Nepal, Former President of Nepal Bar Association, and Former Member of Parliament(1991-1994). We will definitely know more about the current situation of Nepal from Mr. Pyakuerl. Please feel free to meet and talk to him during the program. The program schedule is as follows:

Entrance: 5:30pm
Nepali Dinner: 6pm to 7:30pm (Typical Nepali Buffet Dinner with Dashain Khashi)
Nepali Cultural Program: 7:30pm to 8:45pm by our locally talented cultural artists (dancers and singers).
Open Floor Dance Party: 8:45pm to 11pm – DJ Sampurna Prajapati and Kiran Shrestha.
Entrance Fee: Cash or Check
RSVP and New members:
$20/person, $70 for a family of up to four and $15 each for additional family member (immediate family members only)
At The Door:
$30/person, $100 for a family of up to four and $20 each for additional family member (immediate family members only).
Master of Ceremonies (MC): Mr. Diwakar Thapa and Ms. Jangmu Sherpa.

We would like to kindly request you to RSVP by Thursday, October 18th so that it will help us order the food accordingly (we hope you understand). You can e-mail us to RSVP for the event at info@nepalseattle.org. When you RSVP, please let us how many people are attending from your family and print everyone's name. We will make a RSVP list for the volunteers at the entrance so that they could charge accordingly.
