Nepal Seattle Society Organized its annual BBQ picnic at Gene Coulon Memorial Beach Park, Renton, WA on June 26th, 2011 from 11AM to 7PM. More than 200 NSS members and guests joined potluck and BBQ in a georgeous Seattle weather. Various potluck dishes brought by our members and guests were served along with NSS provided Pork and Chicken BBQ, rice, and lentil soup. The event ended with a certificate distribution program for NSS Nepali Langauage students and handover ceremoney, where outgoing NSS President, Mr. Shree Ram Dahal and the committee members welcomed newly elected NSS President, Mr. Sampurna H. Prajapati and his team. Also, our new Vice-President, Mrs. Bandana Shrestha put together a pinata game for NSS kids.
Nepal Seattle Society (NSS) recently conducted 8 weeks long (April 2, 2011 - May 21, 2011) Nepali school in Seattle, WA. This is known to be the second consucutive year of Nepali School successfully held in Seattle, WA.
