Dear Members and non-members of Nepal Seattle Society (NSS):
It has been more than a month since we postponed NSS General Election 2015 on April 28, 2015 due to great tragedy in Nepal. During this time period, the Nepali community and friends of Nepal in Washington state have done great job focusing on fundraising and distribution efforts for the immediate earthquake relief.
With major wave of NSS fundraising and distribution effort for the immediate relief winding down and need for electing a new NSS executive committee before its 2 years term completes on July 28 , 2015, the NSS election sub-committee 2015 has decided to resume the election process from Jun 6th, 2015.
This election shall elect the Nepal Seattle Society Executive Members for the term of 2015-2017 and will be conducted according to the NSS Constitution (amended in 2012) and available at
It is important that all NSS members, wishing to participate in NSS's General Election in 2015, fully understand the NSS Constitution. The Election Sub-Committee’s goals are to conduct a free, fair and timely election.
