($30000 from NSS General Fund was earlier reserved as seed money in NSS account to kickstart community building project under NSS.)
This General Assembly provides an opportunity for all members to stay informed, share ideas, and participate in key decisions that shape the long-term vision of Nepal Seattle Society. We strongly encourage all members, life members, and founding members to attend.

The Nepal Seattle Society celebrates its 25th Anniversary this year, marking a quarter-century of uniting the Nepali community in the Pacific Northwest through culture, service, and friendship. This milestone honors the society’s journey of preserving heritage, fostering connections, and supporting one another.
The Dashain Tihar 2082 celebration will bring the Nepali community together in Greater Seattle Area with vibrant cultural programs, traditional food, and festive rituals. From the blessings of Dashain to the lights and music of Tihar, the event will capture the essence of Nepal’s most beloved festivals while keeping traditions alive for future generations.

Alcohol/smoking is not allowed by Park Policy.

About NW Jamghat Picnic
NW Jamghat picnic is organized with a coalition of Nepali communities in the states of Oregon, Washington, and the province of Vancouver, BC. Participants usually dawn in our Nepali cultural dress and come together to celebrate our culture, and food and make new friends. Nepal Seattle Society invites you and your family to our annual Nepal New Year Celebration event. Enjoy an evening with us, celebrating our culture and food, and meeting new and old friends.
We will have cultural dances, food and drinks, International Blues Artist Ashesh aka The Himalayan Hendrix, and a promise of a great night!

Ashesh Dangol aka “The Himalayan Hendrix” has already toured in 11 different countries and more than 12 different states in The USA and Headlined many music festivals including Alamar 2007 Music Festival, Spain; Edinburg Mela 2011, Scotland; Herzberg Festival 2011, Germany; Fauskivalen Music Festival, Hemsedal, Norway 2010/ 2011 and 2016, and many more. Norwegian and German press gave him the Title “The Himalayan Hendrix” during his Europe tour in 2010.
